Our baking mixes have a best before date of 6 months. We don't add any additional preservatives to keep them on the shelf longer, we only add the ingredients needed like flours, sugars, chocolate chips etc. It is a Best Before so you can still use it after this time but we would recommend using it before hand. 

Yes! We have kids that make our baking mixes, they are all designed to be easy to make for any skill level. You do not need any baking experience to make these and you will likely surprise yourself that you can actually make them. 

At this stage we do not offer gluten free, we will do in the future but want to ensure we have a dedicated and certified Gluten Free space to make these so that there is no contamination. If you are after Gluten Free you can join our mailing list to be the first to know when we create these. 

Yes we make all our Baking Mixes, they are not mass produced they are made in small batches by us. We have created the recipes and baking mixes and will always continue make them in house. They are made in a council approved commercial kitchen. We use Australian Ingredients where possible, although we do use Belgium cocoa powder because it's absolutely delicious! But as much as we can we use high quality Australian Ingredients

Yes, we have had many bakers with egg allergies or dairy allergies who have used substitutions. I have personally made the cupcakes with dairy free butter and dairy free milk and they worked beautifully. But we have not tested all of these ourselves to know the amounts used or what to add etc. If you have any questions you can let us know, we can always try to help.

Yes definitely, stand mixers are lovely but if you don't have one you can use your hand held mixer too. Most of our Baking Mixes don't require a mixer and if they do it will say so on the product page, but again a hand held mixer can be used as well for all of these.
