And these Halloween Oreo Bat Vanilla Cupcakes 🦇🧁 are just that they are easy and simple to make but one that looks really affective.
These not only look super cute and everyone will love them but they taste good 😍😍
🦇 Using your Bake it by Giovannellis Vanilla Cupcakes Baking Mix make the cupcakes & buttercream as per the instruction cards
🦇 Grab a pack of Oreos and crush a few up to mix into the buttercream, you can just mix it by hand with a spoon but if you want to do it in the machine you can as well.
🦇 Cut 12 Oreos in half with a sharp knife (not a serrated knife as they will crack)
🦇 Place 1/2 on 1 side & half on the other side of the cupcake pressing it lightly into the buttercream to make the ears with the cut flat edge down and the circle side up
🦇 Then add on 2 chocolate chip eyes 👀 I had a white so I used these but you can also use edible eyes if you have them or even milk choc ones whatever you have is perfect
And enjoy 😊 super simple yet affective 😍
Pro Tips:
- If you are making these for an event and you are making them the day before don't put the cookie ears on until the day of the event, party etc. When you add cookies etc on top of buttercream the moisture can make them soft so I always add them before the event rather than the day before to keep them nice and crunchy fresh
- You can use other flavour cookies as well I just like that the colour of the oreos is like the colour of a bat. But if you can stick to more of a circle shape for the ears
