Our gingerbread houses are designed to be crisp and sturdy for decorating, not soft like our regular gingerbread range.

What do I need to add?

All you need to add Gingerbread House: 

120ml Treacle (yes use treacle in Aus, molasses is too strong here, and you can use Golden Syrup if you don't have treacle)

80g Unsalted butter at Room Temp

1 Large Egg

1 Tsp Vanilla Essence

1 Tsp Water

1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence 

All you need to add Royal Icing: 

1 Large Egg White

½ Tsp Vanilla Essence

You can use either a stand mixer or hand held mixer for these

Is there a template for the house?

Yes we will send you a print out of the template with your Gingerbread House

Does it come with icing?

Yes! it comes with a royal icing baking mix and instructions on how to make it. Which are simple to follow along, there is no adjusting with water trying to get the right consistency you simply need to follow the instructions together to mix. It also comes with a piping bag to make assembly easier

What's the shelf life?

Our baking mixes have a best before date of 6 months when stored in a cool dry place like a pantry. All mixes come sealed for freshness, to ensure you keep the freshness keep them sealed until your ready to bake them
