Lotus Biscoff Brownie Trifle

Lotus Biscoff Brownie Trifle

This twist in a trifle is so delicious, I have loved Lotus Biscoff since it came out but putting it with brownies and cream is just perfection. It is such an easy trifle to make and the flavour combo is delicious!

This is also a super easy one to make for your guests this Holiday season that also looks like you have gone to a lot of effort and made a delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Servings or Pieces Bake it by Giovannellis Chocolate Brownies Chopped into small pieces. I used approx 2 servings/pieces of the brownies in each cup but this will depend on how bit your serving cup is mine is quite large.

  • 250g of cream

  • A good heaped tablespoon of Lotus Biscoff smooth spread

  • 4 Lotus Biscoff biscuits 2 crushed 2 for the top of your trifle

How too:

  • Bake your Bake it by Giovannellis Brownies as per the instructions and let them cool.
  • Start by adding a spoonful (see notes) of Lotus Biscoff into your cream and whisk until it is smooth and stiff peaks. If it looks funny at the start don't worry the Biscoff mixes in perfectly. I actually found this worked better with just a whisk and by hand rather than the mixer
  • Chop your baked and cooled brownie into small pieces
  • Once mixed start layering your dessert, add a layer of brownies, I chopped them into pieces to make it easier. Then a layer of biscoff cream, some crushed lotus biscoff biscuits and repeat. I did 2 layers in mine but depending how big your cup is or if your making a share size you may have more
  • Melt a spoon of biscoff in the microwave this only takes about 20 seconds at the most. You just want it a little runnier so you can drizzle it over the top of the trifle
  • Add a lotus biscoff biscuit in the top and your done. These will last a few days in the fridge once made but as it is cream make sure it is covered correctly and eat within a couple of days for the best freshness

Tips:

  • This dessert is one that will develop over night in the fridge so is a great one to make the day before.
  • You can make 2 large or 4 small ones of these if you need to make more just double the recipe.
