Peanut Butter Brownies Made Easy with Our Brownie Baking Mix
Week 7 of our Baking Creations As Chosen by You series over on Instagram is here and this time you voted for Peanut Butter Brownies!
We used our Brownie Baking Mix, so you know it’s going to be simple, quick and packed with rich chocolate flavour.
Instead of just swirling the peanut butter through the mix, we went one step further and added a layer of smooth peanut butter right through the middle and honestly, it was so good. You even get that dreamy peanut butter line through the centre after baking 😍

How to Make Peanut Butter Brownies
Here’s how you can recreate this recipe at home using our Brownie Baking Mix:
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of Bake It by Giovannellis Brownie Baking Mix
- Wet ingredients as per your instructions
- Smooth natural peanut butter (we used Simply Nuts smooth natural peanut butter)
Method:

Prepare the brownie mix
Make your brownies as per the instructions on the pack & preheat your oven. Once your batter is ready, line your baking tray. -
Create the first layer
Pour half of the brownie mixture into your tray and spread it out into an even layer. -
Add the peanut butter
Spoon a layer of smooth peanut butter over the brownie base. Spread it gently with the back of a spoon. You can use as much or as little as you like we went for a generous but not too thick middle layer. -
Top it off
Add the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter. Use a spatula or your (clean) hands to gently spread it out. Try not to press down too hard we don’t want to squish the peanut butter out the sides. -
Bake
Bake as per the instructions on your Brownie Baking Mix. Once it’s ready, let it cool completely before slicing. You might see a bit of peanut butter soaked into the brownie, but that centre line will still shine through.
